Peachgirly answered Wednesday March 15 2006, 9:09 pm: First, you should do 30-60 minutes of cardio at least 3-4 times a week. Doing cardiovasular activites is the most effective way to burn calories and fat. There are different kinds of cardiovascular activities that you can do such as running,jogging, riding a stationary bicycle, swimming, Tae Bo, step aerobics, dancing, jump roping etc. MOST IMPORTANTLY you should do a ton of crunches, lunges and squats after a cardio workout.

lorawhat answered Wednesday March 15 2006, 8:24 pm: running for sure. running gets rid of fat and tones your legs and sit ups and leg raises tone your stomach. do it as often as you can, but if you`re really worried about losing "weight" (muscle weighs more than fat) in the stomach/leg areas then focus on running. because if you only do sit ups and other exercises to get toned, all it will do is make your muscles under the fat bigger which will make you appear bigger.
