Dairy products, broccoli, cabbage, onions, sea food--and carbonated beverages. When you eat, eat slowly and chew your food well. Don't drink from a straw. After doing this for at least a week, you may find that the problem is better. If so, then add the foods back in your diet one at a time--several days apart. If one of the foods that you cut out trigger a "gas attack" then you may wish to eliminate that food all together.
If it is dairy products it is probably caused by "lactose" the natural sugar in the milk. You can buy lactose free products, or an over the counter medicine that helps with this. Because obviously dairy products are important for the calcium.
If you have a change in bowel habits, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation etc. You should see a Dr to rule out a more serious problem. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]
