Party

Question Posted Friday March 10 2006, 10:52 am

Hey guys. I'm 15 years old (female) and I'm going to my first party where there's alcohol tonight. I've never done it before, but I've made sure I know exactly how to get home, every other drink is gonna be a glass of water and so on, I've tried to make sure I'm as safe as possible tonight. My question is, what do you wear? From your experiences, what should I NOT wear, and why? Any good tips or advice?
Thank you if you answer this with honest advice and try not to preach.

Don't wear a micro mini my friend had a really bad experience once with a micro. Don't wear something made of shear material or that's really light colured(like white or pastel). Don't Drink to much or you'll end up doing something you will definately regret.

Ok,here's the thing,to be on the safe side, don't go to the party dressed up like lil miss suductive girl, something bad usually happens if you dress like that purposly around guys at partys cuz chances are most of them will b drunk, honestly if I did'nt care I would'nt be saying this, but it would be so much safer if you had no alcohol at all,it is addictive and if you have 1 you'll just want more until your drunk and there's nothing worse than a drunk girl at a party with guys there, please consider what I said,

Jasmine,

Deffinately don't dress like a slut.

Where a cute pair of nice fitting jeans, and a cute top, and of course a cute pair of shoes, but now heels...and that should be fine, but don't overdo it, just try and dress casual but a cute casual.

A hint... don't wear a skirt... When you're drunk, things can happen that you normally wouldn't allow to happen when you're sober. And a skirt just makes that easier. Trust me on that one... pants give you that little extra time to sober up and say no.

Don't go to the party looking all skanky.
If it's not too cold, you can wear a skirt with a very cute top. I highly doubt you will get drunk.
If it is cold, wear some nice jeans with a cute top. Just go casual but not too casual. Make it look nice. Add some earrings to your outfit to make finish it off. :]

Whatever you do, don`t wear like a barly-covering-your-butt-cheeks skirt & some top that shows your stomach & ONLY covering your boobs. That`s just going to attract UNWANTED ATTENTION. Duhhhh. lol.

PS- Take small sips of the alcohol. Since you never had it, you can probably handle alcohol badly. Just be safe. :]
