I know this sounds stupid....

Question Posted Thursday March 9 2006, 2:53 pm

Okay my brother and I are like really really close and recently he just moved to college (and im in 7 grade). Im so bored at home and I miss him so much. Also, I had a foster sister for a while and she recently moved away to another foster home because she had alot of anger issues. aNy ways im so bored and sad at home because now im like an only child. My parents are thinking about fostering again but its going really slow with our caseworker and all, and at home I sometimes get depressed and stuff. I have like three or four really close friends and a boyfriend but only one of them lives close enough to see me outside of school(and sometimes she gets pretty annoying just cause im around her so much) Does anybody have advice about stuff to do or something that will keep me busy? All it seems like I do all day is sit on the couch or computer. Thanx!!
I rate high also...

its not all that bad. :]
you didnt mention weather you were a guy or girl, so my ideas may have not worked.

hey! well i sort of know how you feel because my sister graduates soon and will go to college, and we are super close so i know it will be hard for me too. but you still need to live a life of your own..and enjoy it!!! so here's somethings to hopefully keep you occupied:
**find a hobby that maybe you havent tried before or don't do that much; scrapbooking, collaging with old magazines you have, drawing, poetry, writing, reading, or anything else that comes to your mind. those are things you could do at home.

**find at least one form of excersize you can do everyday. like go on a run every morning or night, do some basketball..even if it is just shooting hoops, maybe practice tennis somewhere or volleyball.

**also, friends are important so since your friends live sort of far away (i definitly know how you feel...this is how it is with me too) you need to just like get on the phone/im and plan times to get together on weekends and stuff. if they go to the same school as you, then also you can all go to the sports stuff, dances, or other school activities. if they dont go to your school then plan times to get together anyways, and also if your schools compete in things, go to those events to see eachother too!

well, i hope i helped give you an idea on some stuff to do anyways! hope i helped and hope you find something to have fun with!!!xo helpachick

Since your brother moved away and only one of your friends live close, you and your mom and dad should do more family stuff. Like you guys could go to the movies, go swimmimg at the YMCA(OMG i love that place!!!), go out to eat, or just hang out together. Spending more time with your family will definatly keep you busy! When your not with your family you should write your bro a letter and tell him everything you and your parents have been doing. I know he will be glad you are having fun while hes away.

good luck
krystal
