When you bled, that could be that your cherry popped, or that you cut yourself. Its happend to me sometimes when i've been with my boyfriend, it can bleed for just an hour or sometimes for a few days. Just give yourself time to heal.
honu22 answered Thursday March 9 2006, 12:06 am: When I was around 12 years old I got this "teaser" where I had my first period (and it lasted 1-2 days, like yours). A year later I got my regular cycle, and it still wasn't a totally regular cycle every month.
So I was like you and it's different for everyone but generally most people are a range of "irregular" during the first 2-3 years. Once you start, don't expect it to be "regular".
So don't worry, it really does not matter at your age! [ honu22's advice column | Ask honu22 A Question ]
ncblondie answered Wednesday March 8 2006, 10:52 pm: Sometimes it takes women's bodies a while to adjust to periods. Most women will naturally regulate, but there are few that continue to have irregular periods. I'm one of the ones that always have irregular periods and I'm nearly 24. Since it bothers you, I would suggest visiting your family physician or gynecologist for a checkup. They will be able to determine if everything is progressing normally. If you are one of the women that always have irregular periods, it can be treated fairly easy. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]
