there is no time when you should start using them. it's not required that you ever use them in your whole life. nobody will know, so it's your choice. in the summer, you'll probab;y want to use them because you'll be in your bathing suit often and in the water. just follow the directions that comein the box. yes, it is a little freaky at first, but it's no big deal! totally normal. just dont leave it in to long and you;'ll be fine!

its all really up 2 you!! i find them quite uncomfortable but they're really useful if you want 2 go swimmin or just dont want the pad 2 show through your school clothes. i would try them because you might find that you prefer them 2 pads.
good luck! xx

I think you should try them. You may end up liking them better. If not you just go back to the pads. There's nothing wrong with them. It's all up to your personal preference. More people than you would think don't wear tampons. Personally, I find them uncomfortable both physically and mentally. I'm glad that I tried them though, and they do come in useful during those times when your family or friends decide to go to a waterpark when you're on your period. Talk about bad timing. Anyways, good luck!

You don't have to wear them if you don't want to. It's not a big deal. Though it would probably benefit you to learn how just in case you decide to swim or participate in any type of sport while you are on your period. Believe me, they come in handy then.

You don't have to all! It's all a matter of your preference, so if you are uncomfortable about using them, don't! There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Dont use, them if you dont want to.
You dont have to go swimming on the week of your period, just stay out, or tan.

it's totally up to you & what you're comfortable with. personally i still use pads. i've had my period since around the 5th-6th grade & i'm a in 10th. yeah all my friends use tampons, but i'm a germophob & yeah haha =) if you swim a lot & you feel ready then yes go for it. if not, it's definately not a problem. try asking one of your friends/family. if that's kind've weird to you, then buy certain tampons. maybe ask brands from your friends & there's directions on the box. there's also directions on the company/brand's website.

-hope that helped!♥
