i wanna get my belly pierced but my parentals won't let me. my questions is how do i persuade them ?

i wanted to get my bellybutton pierced when i was 14 but my parents didn`t want me to do it either. so i sat my mom down and told her that me having my bellybutton pierced wasn`t going to change the person i am. if anything getting my bellybutton pierced is only going to help me express myself in my own way. it worked for me, and now two years later i have my upper and lower bellybutton pierced.
but if your own persuading speech doesn`t work, make a deal. like if i get strait A`s (or whatever is good for you) then can i get my belly button pierced ? or something like that. or do chores to earn it. parents like to see their kids work for something they want.

write them a letter to persuade them and tell them why you want it and why you should get it.. it works for me ALL the time ;]

you could just do it behind their back. my sister did that and she hasnt been caught and this is her second year. your parents could catch and there could be a major consequences. if you are too scared to do that, just be a suck-up to your parents and do extra chores.

hey! well if you really want to get your belly button pierced, you're going to have to be the best suck-up to your parents child. just tell them you'll clean your navel practically every week or every 3 days. show them how much your responsible and mature enough to get your belly button pierced. yes, indeed it's going to be REALLY hard to convince your parents, to get something pierced but since you REALLY WANT THIS, you'll do anything right? well GOOD LUCK, i hope you can get it. i went through this and got my way so ill tell you what i did =]
okay well i showed my mom that i was responsible by cleaning my other piercings like in my ears. and like help clean around the house. then i would just bring up the topic a lot like not in a joking way but like in a funny but real way. like i said .. well if i get my belly button pierced then you can get you nose pierced.. like stuff like that .. and then i said and if you cant afford it then ill raise the money for it or it could be like a present for the next holiday. like mine was a easter gift haha.. but yeah just keep bugging her but dont get annoying about it and show her respect and prove you can be responsible and take care of it =]

Show them that you are responsible. Basicaly bribe them. Anytime my parents want me to do something, I get 20 bucks :)
Tell them and show them you are respionsible and they wont have to pay for <u> anything </u>

try bugging them about getting a really big tatoo on your back, once thats on the table getting your belly button pierced wont seem like as big of a deal.
