did i make a smart descision? i'm in 8th grade. We had to turn in our highschool schedules yesterday. i am in algebra right now, and i am going to take honors geometry. i get good grades in alg, but i'm always hanging on to my A. its never a very strong A. is this smart? or should i just take geometry? i like that feeling of being in higher classes.
and does anybody have a website that lets you know what classes you should take in highschool to become a nurse practioner??
thanks, i rate 5's.

definitely take honors.
if you feel like taking the hardest classes you can, then take them. it'll help you more in the long run to have a straight line of Cs in a really difficult english class than to have 140+% in basketweaving.
work hard. party later. ]
I did the exact same thing as you. except, I was in algebra my 8th grade year and got 2 As and 2 B+s. I went into geometry honors and did not to well at all. I had a B the first marking period, but a D+ the next and dropped out after 1 semester. however, I did not take it seriously at all and didnt work nearly as hard as I should have. I also had sports everyday, so it was hard to stay after for help, and hard to finish my homework correctly. so heres my advice to you. highschool, especially any honors class in highschool, requires a lot more effort than middle school. you are the only one who decides what grades you get by how hard you try. if i had tried harder i probably wouldnt have done as bad. I think you should go into honors and try really hard, but if you still dont get it you can always move down to A level. in a way im glad i went into honors at first because if i didnt i would have never known if i could do it or not. now i know. you should find out. as for the courses to take to become a nurse, talk to your guidance counselor because every school is different. good luck :-) ]
well if you are comfortable with that class and lyke more of a challange than i say go for it. whatever makes you happy. and if you can't handle it i am sure you could talk to your guidence directorand he could change it for you of maybe even help you get a tutor to improve your grade. good luck in high school. ]
Well, if you'd like more of a challenge, then I would try something else out. But, if you're happy with what you're doing then there's no reason to change classes. You may find something similar to your question in these nurse FAQ's:
