And I only say this because this is what my grandpa has been saying to me since forever. He's always talking about how the medicine doesn't work and then when they proved that it really doesn't, he went on his little, "I have been saying that for years! Ha!"

The longest it would be is a week. It could get serious if you don't seek medical help as soon as possible. Strep Throat won't go away until you get an antibiotic.
