jammy12 answered Tuesday February 28 2006, 8:45 pm: Sit down with ur mom over breakfast and have one of those daughter to mother talks. Tell her how u like him and ask her if there are other reasons that jus because he's older and he smokes. Tell her he's only 2 yrs and ask her y she's acting so because he smokes. Maybe she had a past experience with smoking or something. [ jammy12's advice column | Ask jammy12 A Question ]

You might try to change her mind somehow -- get Donnie to quit smoking, at least around her, and impress upon her his good qualities.
The age of consent in Georgia is 16, so you can't be legally prevented from seeing Donnie. So continuing to see him quietly is an option. However, if you continue to date him on the sly and your mom finds out, she can still make both your lives miserable -- especially his. [ muffinbutt's advice column | Ask muffinbutt A Question ]
