Teza answered Tuesday February 28 2006, 4:40 pm: Anorexic people don't usually eat much at all. They might start to eat something for breakfast, lunch and dinner but as they keep starving them selves their bodies will get used to it and won't really feel hungry. They drink tea, cofee and some crackers for lunch maybe. A bite of food for each meal. I'm not really sure how fast they lose the weight. I tried to look it up but it didn't really say. I think that it depends on the person. You can aslo go on www.ask.com and type in some of your questions in there and you will get some results.
Anorexia effects everything in your body.
Brain-Can't think clearly and have fears of gaining weight. Even though the person might be 90 pounds, when they look at themselves in the mirror they see oneself fat.
Hair-Thins your hair and it gets brittle.
Heart-Low blood pressure.
Blood-Anemia and other blood problems.
Muscles-Sore.
Kidneys-Kidney stones.
Skin-Very plane and the skin gets brused easily and very dry.
It also stops your period and sometimes the girls won't be able to have children.
DarkDesire23 answered Tuesday February 28 2006, 4:35 pm: umm...lets see...they barly eat anything and if they did eat any thing it would be fruit or a salad.they'd probably throw it up.they loose weight with in the frist 1-2 weeks then keep on loosing it
there is so many down effects such as-- obsession,sick-looking,death,hospitalized care, doing drugs,it also depends on the person really.also,if you wanted to only be anorexic for "2 weeks" it wont matter because eating barely nothing for a long time then eating a full meal will only betray you and make you even fatter. >.< but yea,its a horrible thing :O i hope i helped !!

LoViNu2mOuCh answered Tuesday February 28 2006, 4:26 pm: First of all yes, you do decide to become anorexic...you are not born with it.
Anorexics usually do not eat anything. They starve themselves, and if they do eat food they usually throw it up, so that is bulimia. Which is when someone throws up everythig they eat.
The weight loss veries from person to person. If they are eating absolutely nothing, and not drinking a lot of water, than they will lose weight fast.
Down effects:
-look very pale and sickly
-pass out a lot
-become very frail
-your boday processes slow down
many more...

Erinn_the_bamf answered Tuesday February 28 2006, 4:20 pm: They usually eat nothing. Most anorexics are anorexic bullemic because when people make them eat something they just throw it up. In the beginning they loose weight very fast. After a while, maybe 2 weeks-a month, theyt start loosing it slower because their metabolsim slow down. Down effects? Chances of death, lowers blood sugar, distorts image, and causes sexual and period (for girls) problems. [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
