side bang

Question Posted Saturday February 25 2006, 3:57 pm

okay so i have longish dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and an ovalish shaped face. i was thinking about getting side bangs when i get another hair cut but i don't know if they would look good on me. if you could tell me what shape faces, what hair colors, and what eye colors, side bangs generally look good on it would be really helpful for me to figure out if they would look good on me. I rate 5's. Thanks in advance!

Haha! I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, & an ovalish shaped face! I have a side bang, too. Everyone says I look really good with it. If you get it, I think it'd look really nice on you. Don't change your hair color, the hair stylist I went to said brown hair is going in style right now plus dark brown hair goes really good with dark brown eyes.

side bangs would look good and cutting your hair a little longer than shoulder-length would really outline an oval-shaped face. (;

You sound sort of like me. I've had side bangs for a while & so do some of my friends. They seem to flatter anyone's face shape and colors. If you're a little bit nervous about changing the style, don't cut too much the first time. If you really like it add more lengths to it- that's what I did and I really liked it!
Good luck & have fun

I have the side bangs, but I've been parting them down the middle lately, my skin is fair and my eyes are hazel and I guess my face is somewhat like an ellipse lol.
The side bangs seem to look good on everyone, no matter your hair color, eye color, or the shape of your face, I say go for it! If you dont like it, you can always pull them back, or part them down the middle again, no worries!
I sugguest going on a weekend or Friday night so if you don't like it you can experiment.
