what do guys look for in girls
It would be cool if only boys answered this question as I guess they would know best...
What do guys look for in girls? Hair, makeup, clothes? A certain way of acting? Anything that you guys like? I rate, and thanks in advance

Well, to be truthful not all guys are the same. Some look for personality other than external appereance, others don't. The best thing you can do if you want a guy is to just be yourself. You wouldn't want a guy falling for you because of something you're not

Every guy looks for something different. So be yourself and a guy will come for you. Changing to make guys like you is frusterating, and tiring, and just not worth it, because you have to be on your case all the time about not slipping up, and it just sucks.

I'm a girl and even I can answer this. Every guy is different, sweetie ! Some guys like smart girls, dumb girls, ugly girls, bigger girls, skinny girls, pretty girls, potheads, alcoholics, everythingggg. some guys like preps, punk, goth. whateverrr. Just be yourself and a guy will come along who loves every bit of it !

this is what I look for in a girl.
She doesn't have to be pretty but she can't be ugly. Also, being pretty or beautiful is different from being sexy. I personally do not look for sexy girls. I only look at them. THier sexiness will atract too much competition w other boys.Also if they are sexy in public, that means they are promiscious or they will cheat on you. I don't want my gf to cheat on me.
She can't be fat. SHe doesn't have to have a body like sillohuette of the girl on a mudflap.
Also, I like to see girls with long hair. THis is basic instict(I think). long hair is feminine which is attractive.
Contrary to popular belief, guys like brown and black haired girls more than blondes.
Also, guys want girls shorter than themselves.
Acne is a real turn off too. NOt to mention body odor or bad breath.
Also, I don't like girls that wear makeup. nor high heels. If you wear makeup, it shouldlook natural. Skirts are pretty attractive too.
THat is about it for looks. as i said before, looks aren't everything, so long as you are not ugly, looks are basically unimportant.
what matters is personality.
Smart girls are attractive, no boy (except those other jerks) likes the dumb blonde. (dumb is the operative word here)
she also has to be friendly, smiling alot. THe angry girl thing will only land you in the arms of a guy looking for sex.
she also has to be mannerly.
However, she cannot be girly,
crying about breaking a nail and crap like that is all rass to me.
don't ever talk about girl power or crap like that either.
she also has to be athletic. (not really) but she isn't ome of those girls who don't get any exercise either.
so basically it is a mix between looks and personality, personality being more important.
so not fat, not ugly, smart, friendly, rarely ever angry. and NOT FLIRTY. that doesn't work.
that is only my view. other guys may differ. My friends and I have almost this exact same view. Non of us look for girls sexually (even though we may look at them sexually), we are all in the top 15 in academics in school, and we are very nice (cool)(even popular) people.
BUT EVERY GUY IS DIFFERENT> THIS ONLY A VIEW THAT GUYS LIKE ME HAVE!

This really really depends from guy to guy, so what I am about to say now are weak generalisations not facts. I think guys look far less at clothes than girls do. We notice when a girl looks good, but rarely what shoes she is wearing and so on. Even less what purse she is carrying lol. Which reminds me, if a guy ever says "Hey nice shoes!", he learnt to do that from somewhere and its probably a pickup line :)
I would also say that most guys like girls with makeup just not a lot of it- so as to accentuate the girls features without being too visible.
The way a girl acts cannot be generalised. Some guys like the shy type, some like the bold type. I personally prefer them somewhere in the middle, and am not too fond of either extreme.
As for body types even there guys cant agree. Some like the supermodel types. I for one dont (not in the least I might add). Usually we can agree on a pretty face but thats about it. Big breasts/butts/lips/whatever are a plus with a lot of guys, but not all. I do like a girl with strong womanly features I might add...
When it comes to personality most guys like a girl they consider "cool". This typically is judged by her interests. The more she has in common with them the better. Mind you not that I think that a girl should take up something to impress a guy, but playing or liking certain sports or video games or whatever goes a long way. I hear it over and over "I have/had the coolest girlfriend, she liked to watch football with me/ go drinking/ etc."
Thats all I can think of. Oh, theres the hair... again no difference. I think some girls look better with short hair, while some should keep it long (just look at Alyssa Milano when she cut it... terrible). Overall we prefer long thats for certain. Jury is still out on straight, wavy or curly.
Of course none of this matters much if you fall in love, but I guess you know that already. Hope this mess of thoughts was of some use to you.

It's a wide variety. Hair style isn't set in stone because different girls look good in different hair styles. Makeup is great, but I think it's far more attractive if a girl can pull off beautiful without it.
When it comes to personality, having a sense of humor is always a plus. I find myself attracted to intelligent girls too.
Glasses have always been a turn on for some reason.

Well they got to look hot. long hair I guess. Also you have to have big you knows (99% of guys are shallow) Also a way of acting would be talking to them being interested in everything they say and think there hot. Be flirty!
