i hate fake people. i can't stand them. my freind is kind of shy around people. but when she gets online she talks to everyone. liek to all these guys who she would NEVER talk to in person. and the only way she knows these guys are because of me. she had a myspace and talkd to all these people and acts so fake! how can i get her to stop?

That doesn't really make her fake. Some people aren't that outgoing, but they can express themselves better through writing/IMing. But you can't get her to change, if you don't like it you either have to deal with it or stop being her friend.

Well sometimes it can be that your friend is just shy but a lot of the time it is because they feel like they need to be social and over the internet there is a world of people and if she made one person think she was shy or something that they didnt like then she can just go to the next person and talk to them. It really relieves a lot of emotions to sit theere and talk to a bunch of people because then they arent afraid of what they would say. In person they WOULD talk like that its just that someone else talks over them so they cant or that they are scared when they see someone that they have talked to on the internet for a while then she will mellow out. You dont have to get her to stop you just need to talk to her about it and try to make her more confident so that she can bring herself out in front of all those other people

she is not faking it. she is just afraid and shy like you said.
she wants to be like that and is. but only if she can;t talk to them or see them, it gives her a security.
If she start lying about herself and such yo need to remind her thats not who she is and she can attract some ...unwanted attention.
