When it's in the middle of syncing your iPod and computer, it wants to know that it'll be able to finish the job, so it asks you not to unplug your iPod.When it says it's ok to disconnect, then it is done loading and you are free to use your iPod. There's nothing you can really do to make it stop.

my guess to me would be when it say do not dissconnect it probably means; do not disconnect untill told to. If it stops working right you could always trade it in right?

Dear Ipod,

That is completely normal to happen. When you hook it up to your computer and when it says "Do not disconnect"right, that just means it is trying to connect to you computers ITUNE. And when it is finished uploading with Itunes it will say "Ok to disconnect" it will also way this in your Itunes menu until everything is synced. Did you recently aquire the IPOD?

so your ipod doesn't keep freezing, when it does that go to FILE (on itunes) & click update 'whatever your ipod name is' & that should fix it.

-hope that helped!♥

my iPod does this, and it drives me nuts. I don't really know the reason for it, but I've found as long as your computer says it's okay to disconnect, it should be fine to disconnect them.

Do you by chance have an iPod video?
