hey when im downloading songs to my iPod or just charging it... it always says "Do not Disconnect" when on my computer it says "Ok to Disconnnect". What does this mean, and what can I do to make it stop? Thank you in advance
Thief answered Saturday February 11 2006, 5:06 am: my guess to me would be when it say do not dissconnect it probably means; do not disconnect untill told to. If it stops working right you could always trade it in right? [ Thief's advice column | Ask Thief A Question ]

That is completely normal to happen. When you hook it up to your computer and when it says "Do not disconnect"right, that just means it is trying to connect to you computers ITUNE. And when it is finished uploading with Itunes it will say "Ok to disconnect" it will also way this in your Itunes menu until everything is synced. Did you recently aquire the IPOD?

Notso answered Friday February 10 2006, 10:27 pm: my iPod does this, and it drives me nuts. I don't really know the reason for it, but I've found as long as your computer says it's okay to disconnect, it should be fine to disconnect them.
