How about garage saling? Yes, seriously. That's definitely a wise and cost affordable way to obtain a dependably desk. But if you're unwilling to go for that idea, I'd suggest antique stores or Best Buy.

Try Target and Walmart for very cheap ones. If you want to spend a little more try Ikea. They have a wide selection and pretty reasonable prices, however their assembly directions are very very hard to follow. lol
