Well first, the female doesn't have to do anything to get pregnant. She doesn't even have to be awake. And the male doesn't have to come. He can pre-ejaculate and not even notice it. So yes, you can very well get pregnant. If I were you I would go to the doctor and get tested right away.

When the consequences have the possibility to be extremely severe, don't take a child's word on this. Just because he claims he didn't ejaculate does not make it so. Not to insult you, but if he was foolish enough to go along with the entire act without the use of protection, then I wouldn't be surprised if he's wrong about the grand finish. Also, precum shares the possibility of pregnancy, as well (if ya didn't know).
