Which should I pursue?

Question Posted Tuesday February 7 2006, 9:09 pm

I love singing, I've been singing on stage since I was 3. People say I'm good so I guess I am. But I also love drumming. I started that when I was 5. Next year I'll be in High School and the way the system works, I can't do choir and band. I really love both alot. Which do you think I should go for.

Drummer. Lol. I dont think drmming is a cult... sorry. Drumming is an instrument. You never know, you may loose your voice, start smoking and it goes all crap. It might just change when you get oldffer. Dont give up singing. I would love to be able to sing. You dont forget how to drum, not if your good. What do you enjoy best? Dont do what people tell you to, do what will make you happiest. Best of luck xxxx

Singing is a better skill to have, since you learn how to breathe and to project your voice. Drumming--ehh, you learn to bang on things. :P I'm a singer, love it, and that choice would be easy for me...I'd try choir, if you love it stick with it, and if you don't, try band.

thats a tough desision. i would be in the same situation if i wouldnt be homeschooled. i also sing and play the drums. but i would ask youself which one you love doing the most and which one you think youre better at. you could also try choir for a year drop out and join band if you are able to do that. because then at least you could do both. or you could start a band, become the drummer and do choir in school. but its basically all up to you.
GOOD LUCK!

Well, first you have to ask your self how good a singer you really are. If you're GREAT then you should go for choir. However, not everyone is a great singer but almost anyone who practices an instrument a lot can do great at it. You don't have to be born with great drumming skills. So just ask yourself how good a singer you really are.

Kisha answered Tuesday February 7 2006, 11:08 pm:
Go with whatever one you believe is the best.

I am a singer myself.

I have been since I was 7.

And I had to pick over Choir or Theatre.

I want to become an actress/singer.

So I went with choir.

There is always another year for another thing.

So go with what you want to pursue in the most.

Hope I helped.
