Will I get a boyfriend?
I'm 13 and in 8th grade, and I still haven't had a boyfriend yet. I'm not HORRIBLY ugly, I actually think I'm pretty. But NO guys approach me at all. I've been told it's because I'm shy. And I am shy, but...I'm not sure if it's something else. Do you think that the fact I didn't have a boyfriend in middle school will make guys turn me down in high school? I don't want to be single forever.

no the fact that you didnt have a boyfriend in middle school will definatly not keep you from having a boyfriend in high school. and if your shy no guy can really get to know you and if a guy doesnt know you then why think about going out with you? try going to school tommorow and talking to a guy or even a girl you havent talked to much or ever before. you could also try being more open with your best friends and the more open you are with them the more likely youll be more open with other people. hope i helped.

I can pretty much promise you that you won't be single forever. It's only middle school, you have a wholeee life ahead of you. And I don't think that will have any affect on guys in highschool. I had my first boyfriend when I was 15, and im considered pretty and was also very shy... in the mean time just enjoy your friends and concentrate on your grades :o) Try to make some guy friends, im sure if you start talking or even just greeting some guys one will ask you out

okay well i can relate.. i`ve had 1 boyfriend and that was for about an hour last year..we were better off friends..anyways :)..
People in highschool aren't going to care if you have had a boyfriend or not. I'm sure that there is at LEAST one guy out there that likes you, but is shy too. Find a guy you like, and start talking to him..you only live once right :), or get an outgoing friend to talk to him and find out some stuff he likes or have her talk to him about you..But guys arent going to approach you beacuse YOUR shy, that has nothing to do with it.
Your NOT going to be single forever, and if they arent going to make the first move..then you should..what do you have to lose?

I can almost promise you that you wont be single for ever, I was really shy (still am) in middle school too, I didn't even have my 1st kiss until almost the end of my freshman year in highschool! I was in the same position i though that guys would like the fact that i had never had a boyfriend or a kiss or any thing, but i actually came to find out that some guys respect that. Have you tried getting your friends to introduce you to somebody, and see how it goes from there? If not you should try that it helps me alot when my friends do that for me...

Okay,Theres no rule that you have to have a boyfriend in middle. I mean if you wait, maybe theres hope that you will actually get a mature kind of relationship, and not some bogus kid relationship. Not that im saying people in middle school cant have a good relationship. But when you get to highschool any guy who gives you crap for somthing so stupid. Is a asshole and i dont really think you should waste your time with them.. Youll get a boyfriend. If you really want to get a boyfriend then flirt,talk , make a best friend thats a guy and then see where it goes from there.

At this age guys are shy as well and really don't know how to approach girls.

of course not. tons and tons of people don't have boy friends in middle school not because they are ugly but just because nothing has happened. belive me in highschool you will get a boyfriend and noone will put to thought the fact that you hadn't had a boyfriend. and thats so good that your confident in your looks because i dont know a lot of ppl like that but i know its a great thing and a good turn on.
dont worry you wont be single for lone ;-)
