I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months. I like him alot and want to spend time with him. He on the other hand likes to spend alot of time alone. I wouldn't see for a week or longer and I was starting to get really sad. I asked him about it and he said that while he loves me, he just needs time to himself. I told him that I needed to spend time with him and go out and stuff and he agrred to see me more often.
I want to feel connected to him, but he wants to go home everytime I start to feel happy and start to feel connected to him. He won't spend the night. I know he is NOT cheating and he only works part time. All of his friends say that he has always been like this. I am afraid that there I will get to a point where I want more than he is willing to give me. He is great to me otherwise and we have a wonderful time whenever we are together. I know we haven't been together that long, I just am not sure what to do. (link)

some people jsut dont enjoy going out or staying with people for a long period of time. if this is something that is big in your life then maybe you two arent good together. if you can talk to him enough and try to find out wat really makes him do this maybe you can change his ways.
but this is a big part of relations ships, spending time together, so you never know how far it might go.

I'm 13 and in 8th grade, and I still haven't had a boyfriend yet. I'm not HORRIBLY ugly, I actually think I'm pretty. But NO guys approach me at all. I've been told it's because I'm shy. And I am shy, but...I'm not sure if it's something else. Do you think that the fact I didn't have a boyfriend in middle school will make guys turn me down in high school? I don't want to be single forever.

of course not. tons and tons of people don't have boy friends in middle school not because they are ugly but just because nothing has happened. belive me in highschool you will get a boyfriend and noone will put to thought the fact that you hadn't had a boyfriend. and thats so good that your confident in your looks because i dont know a lot of ppl like that but i know its a great thing and a good turn on.
dont worry you wont be single for lone ;-)

I have been dating this boy and as we were walking along when suddenly he grabbed me and started kissing me. He caught me so off guard I messed up the kiss leading to him getting spit over my mouth and to make things worse I said ew. I was so emarassed and i think he was too, which is the worse thing that could of happened.(I have talked him bout that acident which is sorted now I think) That was my first time kissing someone so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to spot when someone is about to kiss you and some pointers on kissing to help me avoid embarissing myself again.
will rate high for good answers
thank you xxx (link)

usually if the guy is about to kiss you off guard you can tell by how they are acting. if they keep turning and looking over at you or if they have a serious concentrated look on their face they may go in for the move.
and im not gonna sit here and list things like *try wrting your name with your tounge in the persons mouth* cuz that seriously doesnt work. basically you turn your head open your mouth a little bit and just close and open every so often. and i know it sounds cheezy and like stupid but it acually helps kissing on your hand.
if you are nervous you can tell when your kissing so just be confident and dont worry about it.

I don't really know if I want to finish school... I mean, I sort of lost all desire to finish school, I've had my heart broken this year & after that... it just seems like school isn't important anymore... I mean, I started failing... & I'm just not careing & just letting it keep going...
so, I think I want to do homeschooling next year, can anyone give me any advice on how to do homeschooling on the computer? & I'd like to graduate a year early, is that possible?
thank you so much (link)

even though your heart has been broken at school doesnt mean that you should quit. going to school and being with friends is a huge part of life and it affects your whole life. a break up in highschool is not as affective as graduating highschool. if you stick to it you will grow up and have a better job then if you get home schooled online.

OK im a 14 year old girl. I November my gramma died, and a week later my parents got a divorce. I have an older sister who is perfect and gets awesome grades and is really pretty and popular. Like it isnt hard enough just being a freshman in high school, i have all of this to deal with. I have always felt like im stuck in the shadow of my sister. I was especially close to my gramma, and i still am afraid to accept the fact that shes gone. My parents getting a divorce has been really hard, because i was really close to my dad, and now he doesnt live with me. It just seems like this is all building up, so im really moody. Everyone tells me i need to talk to someone, because hiding isnt good. But i dont feel like there is anyone in the world who can understand what I'm going through. It seems like i cant relate to anybody. What should I do? Do i really need to talk to someone?
PS-I am a very good Catholic, so i believe in God and pray to him, and i am at church all the time. But i dont even feel close to God anymore.

sometimes relating with someone does not make you feel better. what you need is to start doing more activities and making a lot of friends. go out with your friends and try new things. its hard to get accustomed to change, so it might be tough at first. after a while you will be so interested in your friends and other activities that it wont bother you as much anymore. just no that you are not alone. and even though your sister is "perfect" in your eyes, you should find a new sport or activity that you are especially good at and im sure u will get to be better at that than her.. then you already have one thing that you can call yours and ppl are proud of you for it.

is it gross or weird to shave your arms? (link)
|
its pretty much both. the easier way to do it is to bleach your arm hair. it wont come back prickly and you wont have freakishly no hair on ur arms. you wont be able to see it if you bleach it but at the same time it wont be gross or weird.

I have a problem where i eat WAY TOO much! but i hate the way I feel afterwards and last spring I stopped eating completely and I loved the way I felt and looked but when i went to camp i just started eating again.... All I can ever think about is food! I'm not fat! (I was actually voted hottest younger sister by my older sister's guy friends!!!) But I'm just uncomfortable with the way I look. I'm on the shorter side with huge boobs that make me look thinner then i am but still... I want to feel thin! HELP ME!!!! (link)
|
you kind of remind me of me because im kind of the same wway. if you think about it you are kind of lucky because when you eat it doesnt show even though you ahve a gross feeling. however, for some people when they eat it shows a lot and they also have a gross feeling. i think it would be different if you were on the bigger side which you are not. for now, just try to just cut down or watever but dont worry about wanting to eat food. your body is different and it does not come out onto you. just make sure you arent eating disgusting junk food all the time and it would get away the gross feeling.

i am, well, you could say a Drama Geek. lol. i have not missed even ONE audition for any school or community plays since i started my freshman year (i am finishing my junior year right now). there for a while i kept getting chorus or extra, which was fine to start with, but when i decided i wanted bigger parts, last summer, i was not put in any production for about year now!!! i try out and try out, but never even get a part! is there anythign i can od to improve my skill and/or have a better audition? (link)

alot of times the director casts people who do certain things in auditions and your's have not been as successfull. i'm sure that many of the people who have recieved bigger roles are willing to give you some tips on how they succeed in theater. you can also ask the directer, without sounding like a suck up, what kind of things he looks for in an audition. the fact that you are faithful to the theater program definatley helps, but maybe you just need a few tips to get an extra push. just don't give up and keep doing the theater.
