Question Posted Thursday January 26 2006, 6:48 pm

Recently, my friend Jennifer confided in me to keep a secret from her friend Lauren. Lauren is now with Jennifer's ex boyfriend and Jen told me that all Lauren ever talks about is the boyfriend(she talks about him 24/7). Jen is really annoyed and bothered by talking about him because she still has strong feelings for him. But, Jen doesn't want to hurt Lauren's feelings because she is really happy. Jen asked me what she should do and what should I tell her?

Heyy! I deff know this situation! Well I think that Jen should tell Lauren how she feels. All she has to do is tell her nicely! I think if Lauren is a good friend then shell respect Jens feelings. She can talk bout it to other people, I think shell understand.
I hope I helped

You should tell her what YOU think she should do.

We can't tell you what your opinion is.

WOW! I've been in this position before my BEST friend has done it to me two times. All she ever talks about is him. Truth is, no matter how long she dated them (it wasnt a long time) they still had feelings for me after they broke up. If she keeps her feelings staying strong for him, he'll most likely still like her after they're over with. Then theres another chance that he's just doing that to get her jealous. If she's still annoyed by her talking abou them 24/7 tell her not to be scared to tell her to shut up. It's fine. Do it nicely...lol, like say Would you please shut up, I don't want to know how happy you and my ex are together.. ( okay so maybe that would start some drama?? Depends on what type of personality she has.) Just tell her to talk to her and tell her how she feels, and MAKE SURE she tells her that she still has strong feelings for him... maybe she'll back off, or even keep the boyfriend thing hush-hush.

Well, I hope this helped you!

tell her to chill out. They won't last forever. Boys have a short attention span unless they seem super serious i wouldnt get too upset over it. Tell Lauren to stop obsessing hes just a boy and hopefully shell take the clue. Hope i helped xoxox3
