im not getting into detail,but i was sick for half of monday,tuesday,and today i took a day off,im pretty recovered. (stomach virus)i was vomiting quite a bit.The thing is,i couldn't eat,and i was already skinny (naturally,runs in the family)so now im REALLY skinny,i look really awful,and i am surpirised that in only two days i became very skinny.I am trying to eat much,but i need help on some foods that will make me fatter by tomarrow.NO JUNK FOODS PLEASE.some healthy things.this whole day is to rejuvinate myself.im so upset.(im 4"7,and i was 72 pounds,and now i am i think 67)13,f.
P.S. it should take about a few days to a week possibly to gain back all of your weight that you lost, back but keep checking your weight to make sure that you don't gain more than you want or to see if want to keep gaining to reach your goal weight.=)
Raeden answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 1:28 pm: No one will give you strange looks for looking a bit weak after a stomach virus. Don't eat more than you feel like eating, and just eat like you did before. You'll recover just fine, but for me it works to eat more grains than normal if I want to regain some weight a bit quicker. sizzlinmandolin answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 12:16 pm: 5 pounds isn't that big of a deal. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to try to gain weight especially after you were just sick. All that junk food might make you sick again. You'll gain the weight back naturally. Trying to gain weight like that can't be very healthy. You'll be fine don't worry! I would suggest eating a lot of bread though. Bread is fattening and it's likely not going to make you sick again. Again, try not to worry. Your body will sort this out on its own. Good luck! TheOldOne answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 12:11 pm: I'm sorry, but you can't gain a meaningful amount of weight by tomorrow. It just isn't possible. Even if you crammed nothing but fat into your mouth for the next several hours, all you'd do would be to make yourself throw up again.
What you need to do is drink plenty of liquids - particularly water - and eat healthy foods, boring as that may sound. Vegetables. Fruits. Grains. Meat.

jbdreamer answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 11:18 am: I think it is a bad idea to eat a lot of anything after a stomach flu. Just take it easy and eat mild foods. Maybe try some pasta.
