the first 16 means the chapter (you'll see a big-ish 16 in the middle of text........... after 15 of course) and teh second 16 means the verse... that will be the smaller 16 in the middle of text.
So in the 16th chapter of Mark, verse 16 will be what you are looking for.
At the top is a drop-down box with all of the books listed, and out from that you can type the number for the chapter and verse you want.
Below that is a place you can use to search the Bible using keywords. It's very handy if you know a few words of a verse you are looking for but can't remember where it is. [ DangerWench's advice column | Ask DangerWench A Question ]

If you find the book of Mark in the bible, you'll see a 16 next to the name, that's the chapter, then where they tell the stories, you'll see that they have little numbers next to the sentences, that's the verse. So that'll be Mark 16:16. Hope i didn't confuse you. But if you need me to explain it to you, then drop on in the inbox. ♥ [ KiSSxMYxPEARLS's advice column | Ask KiSSxMYxPEARLS A Question ]
