How do I get myspace to be private so only my friends can see it?

If you set your age to 15 or younger (changing the year of birth under basic info under edit profile) then it will automatically become private. I just changed my age back to 15, which I am, and it made it private, I'm going to change it back though, my friends didn't like it.
Another way to do this is...
Sign in and go to your homepage
Next to your picture, 3rd down, it should say account settings, click that, there are 2 optinos towards the very bottom... "who can view my profile"

Like almost all of the answers below are wrong.
Go to your homepage.
Then next to your picture go to Account Settings.
Then go next to privacy settings and click on Change Settings.
Then go to the bottom of the page and there are too options (if your under 18) There is My Friends Only or Anyone under 18 on MySpace.
Click what you want then its done.

Go to home, edit profile, basic info, and change your age to anything under 16. Although you're older then that, that's the only way to set your myspace private. ♥adina

You need to set your age to 15 years old or below for your profile to be private. You can then go into your Privacy Settings, in your Account Settings, to justify the settings.
You can change your age in the basic information area of the 'Edit My Profile' page. Since you're older than 15, this is the only way to make your profile private.
