ok.. so heres my question.. i am 14/f and i like this guy, and i know he likes me.. we might go out in the near future.. but hes 16.. and we dont see each other alot, except on weekends when he picks me us and we go to the mall or movies or something.. are we too far apart in age? or is it common for people of our ages to go out?
helpachick answered Friday January 13 2006, 6:14 pm: i think that at 16 and 14, you should be fine. going out with older guys at our age is sometimes a plus because they are more mature and therefore sometimes more fun to be around(if you know what i mean) if they are a year or two older. and well for the seeing eachother issue, its only on weekends...well that should be ok though because the only time you GO OUT is on weekends. sure, its good to see eachother during the week, but i think you two should be ok. maybe if you feel like seeing him/talking during the week, try going to a sport game or talking on the phone or internet.:D xoxo helpachick [ helpachick's advice column | Ask helpachick A Question ]
KiSSxMYxPEARLS answered Friday January 13 2006, 5:41 pm: It's okay. I once when out with a 17 year old when i was 14. Who cares. It's not that far apart. Only 2 year difference.
Mackenzie answered Friday January 13 2006, 5:17 pm: I don't see 14 and 16 as an undefeatable gap. If you like this guy, give it a chance. If you see a good opportunity, why would you deny it? Marriage obviously isn't something you're ready for, so spend your teen years having fun and learning from them. (= [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
