Yes there is a possibility you could have a fertilized egg in you, BUT!! since you had sex last night you can still prevent getting pregnant by taking the morning after pill(the emergency contraceptive). Its a pill that prevent a fertilized egg from embedding in the uterus. any way its only effective if you use it with in 72 hours so you have three days but the sooner you take it the better. I'm pretty sure you can purchase it from any pharmacy, or even a family doctor. the good thing is your mom doesn't even have to know about it. doctors have an obligation not tell any one about it if you don't want any one to know.

As for the future if you and your boyfriend are going to be sexually active then id recommend going on birth control. its almost 99% sure that you wont get pregnant. its very unlikely you'll get pregnant if your on birth control, and on the plus side you don't need to wear a condom during sex if your on birth control again you can purchase birth control at your local pharmacy, and I also heard Wal-Mart?? I don't know but you should ask your doctor.

And always be safe

If you got your period that's a very good thing. It's rare that you'll have it while being pregnant. If you were one of these rare cases, your period should be a lot lighter than usual and not last as long. If it's light and you get worried there is no harm in trying a pregnancy test just to be sure. Good luck!

What you should have done is gotten a day after pill...they can still work up to three days later so if it hasn't been that long get one immediately! Next you have to realize that sex comes with these types of risks and you should have been prepared for them. The next time you have sex, beforehand you need to make sure you think about all of the risks and consequences and what you need to do if certain things happen. A gynocologist can do nothing for you in this situation. There's no need to tell your mom or anybody about this just yet. The risk of you getting pregnant is very small, but still there. If you don't get your period when you're supposed to don't panic. Wait a few days because it could just be late. If you still don't get it, again, don't panic. If you worry a lot that can cause you to miss your period. You're young and could very easily miss a period and not be pregnant. What you need to do though if you miss it, is buy a pregnancy test kit (they can be found in any regular store). If you come out positive that's when you have to tell your mom. Pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate and you'll have to be tested by a doctor to be sure. Okay, now that all of that's out of the way I'm going to try to help you feel better. As I said before, the chance of you being pregnant is very small. People that try to get pregnant have a hard time with it. There is only a span of about four days a month when it's possible to get pregnant at all. You were using a condom and "it" wasn't actually deposited inside of you. Sperm doesn't like to climb and will die very quickly when it's not at the right temperature (outside of the body is much too cold). I hope that everything turns out okay for you and I hope that the next time you have sex you're more careful. Good luck!

i'm sorry to tell you, but there's always a chance of something bad happening. did the condom break? if "it" wasn't inside of you, normally it dies in air so you might not have much to worry about. however, if it got inside you - you might have a problem. but whatever you do, DO NOT FREAK OUT. stress can make it late.. because that's what happened to me. i got really stressed and i was 6 days late because of it. hope i helped :o)
