There's a slight chance that I could be pregnant. First of all, I'm only 15 years old. I recently had sex for the first time (a little over a week ago). We used no protection, and I'm currently not on birth control. Apperently, there's certain days after your period that you can get pregnant. Well, these were one of the days. He didn't cum, but my sister told me about "pre-cum", and apperently..that can get you pregnant too. I'm terrified. I should be starting my period again in about a week, and I'm usually never late. So if I am, should I tell my mom? My mom is a very God-like lady, and when she found out my brother, 19 years old, had sex she was VERY dissappointed in him. I'm 4 years younger..and a baby? hmm. What do i do! Abortion clinics tell your parents, and there's no way I would have the baby.
p.s. I'm not certain if I'm pregnant or not, so please don't respond with anything to make me regret my experience.

I really dont recommend abortion, because I dont think your mom would be happy about that either, and mothers always have a way of finding out. PLsu, before your 16, you must of parental consent, and there is a time limit on abortions. But I wouldnt tell your mom until at least a week after your missed period. Very often at your age, your period can skip a couple of days, and out of personal experience, expecially when your stressed. And getting pregnant from precum doesnt happen all the time. If he released, then I would be really worried, but since he didn't, try not to stress out about it. Good Luck. And if you really didnt want to have the baby, if you do by some far fetched chance you get pregnant, you can always consider adoption. There are many couples out there who would LOVE to have a little baby. [ snowwalker69's advice column | Ask snowwalker69 A Question ]
hugsNkisses answered Thursday January 5 2006, 6:33 pm: you should definitely wait to see if you have your period but if you dont get it that exact day dont worry too much because that often happens. if you dont get it within a couple days then i would definitely tell your mom. this is huge news and you absolutely wont be able to hide it. also dont worry too much, because it may just be a false alarm. you can try taking a pregnancy test that you can buy from a drug store, but sometimes those arent accurate either. good luck!

Sex can make people obsessed with the idea of being pregnant (using at least two forms of birth control - condom and pill/patch/ring/etc - can help you relax more in the future).
I'd also like to point out that high levels of stress or anxiety can make your period be late.
So wait, see if it comes. Give yourself some extra days if it does not to account for the stress and worry.
If your period still doesn't come, go to a drugstore and read some home pregnancy tests. Some need you to be a few weeks late for your period, while other can check for pregnancy much earlier. Buy the test that seems accurate, follow the instructions to the letter, and wait for the result.
I'd also consider phoning your local sexual health clinic to see what options they have for young people. I can think of one national agency that will offer you confidential and free information - including birth control.
LoveNJstyle answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 11:27 pm: younggrandma is right! don't stress or you will miss it! don't say anything until you are 100% sure you are pregnant... get a test after you miss your period then if you are, THEN mention it. Just relax. lemme know if you need anything! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
karenR answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 10:47 pm: First of all stop panicking. That can make you miss your period too.
Chances are real good you are NOT pregnant. It is very possible but not real likely. So don't panic until you have to.
Don't say anything until you have to. Give it a couple of weeks and if you don't get your period get a home pregnancy test.
Try not to worry. Hard I know but it will make matters worse. Check back with us if you don't get your period.
