MikeCFT answered Monday January 2 2006, 2:19 pm: Stay away from the low carb, low anything diets....they just lead to a loss of water weight and not bodyfat and are very temporary. 10-15 lbs for Feb is possible...but not at all of that 10-15 lbs is going to be actual bodyfat unless the dieting is done right. People could learn a lot by watching how competitive bodybuilders eat. There are proportions to every meal and there are many meals throughout the day. Just because you're "Dieting" doesn't mean you eat less food....it means that you eat BETTER food on a consistent basis. Sensible Eating I like to call it...Are Donuts good for you? No...so don't eat it. Read a little ofruther back in the column for what to look for and do when cooking and preparing meals. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]
duzzie19 answered Monday January 2 2006, 1:33 pm: yeah here are your daily options:
breaky: only half of that slimey dougnut
dinner: again, just half of the lardy mcburger crap
supper: just half a pound of whatever junk you are debating whether to shove down into your unexpecting digestive tracts
betterthanyou_X3 answered Monday January 2 2006, 12:18 pm: 2 pounds per meal? Unless you starve yourself, that won't happen. But, you do have a month and half so you most likely can loose the weight you want if you don't get lazy.
You don't need all those fancy "no crab only", "high protein only, and “grapefruit only" diets to loose weight. Just watch what you eat. Not too much fatty, sugary foods or sodas. Stick with water, juices (close to a 100%), and healthy foods. Eat y our regular 3 meals and avoid eating between meals as much as possible.
And you have to exercise. You can't lose weight without exercising. You can simply go for a run everyday after school or something for an hour or so. If you want, you can also do crunches, sideway sit ups, lunges, and all that stuff to make it go quicker. Running itself will do it for just 10 lbs. though.
vilelove answered Monday January 2 2006, 12:15 pm: ur going to do it based alone on a diet? ...im sorry if a am mistaken and you are planning to excerixe but if you are not then i highly recommend it. without excersixe it won't be possible.
have you heard of low-carb diets? like Atkins or South Beach? well if this is only until mid Feb. or a temporary kind of thing I recommend a low carb diet. With a low carb diet you have a variety selection of meals as long as you do not exceed 20 carbs a day.
Good luck! [ vilelove's advice column | Ask vilelove A Question ]
