i have an assignment due for my world history class, and i'm supposed to make a collage of main events of 2005.. and i cant think of anything.. any ideas?!

Strong ocean waves, known as a tsunami, hit the coast of South Asia near the end of 2004. The tsunami caused damage in 11 countries. About 275,000 people were killed. As 2005 began, people all over the world gave billions of dollars to help the survivors.
FEBRUARY
The Incredibles won two Academy Awards, including Best Animated Feature Film. Pretty incredible, even for a family of cartoon superheroes.
MARCH
Pilot Steve Fossett became the first person in history to fly alone and nonstop around the world. The flight took 67 hours.
APRIL
Leaders of the Roman Catholic Church chose a new pope. Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger of Germany became Pope Benedict XVI. Pope John Paul II had died on April 2.
MAY
In her first year at the Indianapolis 500, race-car driver Danica Patrick became the first woman to lead a lap in the race.
JUNE
Visitors to the National Zoo, in Washington, D.C., got their first look at five cheetah cubs. The rare cubs are part of a program to protect animals in danger of disappearing in the wild.
JULY
Lance Armstrong won his seventh Tour de France. No one had won the tough bicycle race that many times. He is now retired.
AUGUST
Hurricane Katrina hit coastal areas along the Gulf of Mexico. Major flooding in New Orleans, Louisiana, sent survivors scrambling to safety.
SEPTEMBER
John G. Roberts Jr. was sworn in as the 17th Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Roberts replaced William H. Rehnquist, who died on September 3.
OCTOBER
African-American civil rights hero Rosa Parks died. In 1955, she challenged an unfair law in Alabama. She refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man.
NOVEMBER
Just in time for the holidays, the next big thing arrived in stores. The Xbox 360 game console went on sale. Kids of all ages lined up to buy the new Box.
DECEMBER
Iraq's former leader Saddam Hussein is on trial for killing innocent people. Hussein shouted at the judge and said he had been treated badly.

No one could shut up about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hooking up this year, or Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey breaking up. Also, there were the bombings in London and the death of the Pope.
