a lot of blood
hi 14/f here and i just got my period for the very first time last night, but there is soooo much blood ! i dont know if this is normal or not . and i had cramps and got whiney and everything and i dont think that im suppossed to get this on my first time !! is this normal ?? help me im so scared !!

first of all congrats on becoming a woman!lol its very normal,thats what sucks about periods.It looks like alot of blood i know,but it really isnt only a couple teaspoons of blood no big,you get cramps from the contractions from your you know what pushing to hard,and you get whiney because you had mood swings while having your period you can also call it pms.You should talk to your mom about this kind of stuff she knows what to do because she went thourgh it ; ]

Yes it is normal... usually it's heavy on the first day... that's all, nothing to worry about. And the cramps and everything are gonna happen everytime.

You sound fine to me.
It can be an awful lot of blood, especailly in the first day or two. So don't panic.
It is okay to get cramps and be uncomfortable, even on the first time. Try and talk to an older female relative if you can, even call an aunt or older friend, they will understand. You are part of the club now!
