Question Posted Wednesday November 30 2005, 10:21 pm
Okay, so this is my fourth or fifth period, and I still don't use tampons. The catch is, next month around this time, I'm going to the beach. So I really want to learn how to use tampons for future reference. I tried just putting in a light one, and it hurt sooo bad. I put vasaline on the tip and everything, I just can't get it in. Any tips for putting that damn thing in?

Make sure you're putting it in the right hole..it's the hole closest to your clitoris. Sorry to be so detailed but just trying to help lol! You could also read the directions in the box of tampons to help you. When you put it in, try doing it standing up with your legs way apart...completly relax..or it will hurt..then push the tampon it until your fingers hit you. Also, make sure you put a tampon in when you have your period....i mean don't try it when you don't have your period..beacuase it's just too dry w/out it. Ok well good luck! ♥ caitie [ x0blu3eyedbeautyx0's advice column | Ask x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 A Question ]

Try standing up putting one leg up on the toilet and putting it in. Or in a box on tampons there is a information paper and a step by step instructions on how to put it in.
