..do you think it could be from the lotion??
shannonsgirl answered Friday December 2 2005, 9:13 pm: it could be from the lotion or you wen you shave lather it up really good and shave and do not use a dull razer.. and the lil red bumps are brobley like raver burn things [ shannonsgirl's advice column | Ask shannonsgirl A Question ]
Kristen03 answered Thursday December 1 2005, 8:30 pm: The first time you shave, you can get irritation bumps..That's probably the rash your experiencing. The itching only occurs after the first time shaving, you'll eventually get used to it. The lotion only makes it worse, it'll burn and the bumps will increase. It will go away shortly though, so don't freak out. [ Kristen03's advice column | Ask Kristen03 A Question ]
queenbianca2004 answered Thursday December 1 2005, 5:54 am: Well Its could be because lotion isnt meant to be put in your crotch. Also dont use conditioner thats for you hair and it wont make it softer. The rashes hurt because probably because of the razor you used. Hint for next time use a shaver that the guys use. Like one of those automatics. Works better
smallbutsweet90 answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 7:12 pm: lol, i know how that is. dont shave more than once a week or so, it irritates the skin and makes u get the itchy rash, and it hurts. i would recommened using lots of shaving cream, and when u get outta the shower wait till your dry and but lotion or after shave. this will one keep from the itchyness, and usuall keeps it soother longer! good luck =)

xxoBriannax answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 6:25 pm: Always use a sharp razor and alot of shaving cream. Don't use conditioner, it will irritate it. Don't put lotion on it as soon as you get out of the shower, wait until you are all dry. The rash could be from the lotion, or one of the things I mentioned above. ViceViolet answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 6:01 pm: Don't go against the hair, go with the hair. It may take longer and not work as well but its worth it in the long run!! Good Luck!

TimmyTM answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 3:14 pm: Shave your vulva regularly, and it won't itch. You don't need to use any lotion really. If you do, make sure it doesn't get in your Vagina.
ThugGirl041790 answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 1:37 pm: Hey..
It could be the lotion like if its scented that could of irratated it a little bit..Um try using something like baby oil or a lotion for sensitive skin..
Maybe try getting a new razor..Don`t ever use the same razor you use for your legs/under arms..
Don`t ever shave that area dry so make sure you use plenty of conditioner/soap/shaving cream..
Wait awhile til shaving again so it won`t bleed or hurt when you shave again..
ScratchesOnTheWall answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 1:23 pm: neeeeeever use perfumed or alcohol-based lotions on there. It's really easy to cut yourself shaving that area and the lotion will get into the cuts and sting like hell.
Also make sure u use a shaving foam for "sensitive" skin.
sizzlinmandolin answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 12:43 pm: The lotion probably actually helped. That area is very sensitive. When you first start shaving it, you'll get tiny cuts all over the place and they'll burn, itch, etc. What you should do is only shave it every 3 to 4 days or so to begin with and make sure you're using a sharp razor and are very careful. It'll take awhile for your skin to adjust so be patient. Good luck! [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
hco_babe answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 11:57 am: you're probably using a dull razor. get a brand new sharp one and try, make sure you put on tons of bodywash. then put a non-scented maybe even sensitive skin lotion on. [ hco_babe's advice column | Ask hco_babe A Question ]
Docholliday answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 1:22 am: Yeah that is completely possible that it wa the lotion. That is a very sensitive area and shaving for the first time would give youa rash anyways, and the lotion could have just made it worse. Let it heal before you shave again, and next time be very gentle, and use a lotion specifiaclly for the soothing of skin after shaving or waxing.
