Its personal preference. You can either shave it all off or leave a little bit of hair in the areas that you dont feel like shaving.

You can shave as much as you want. If you are active with guys, you should probably shave it all. If not, just trim occasionally and you'll be fine. Guys like it if you have no hair though.

if you are not active you and just shave it so you cant see it around you panties or bathing suit.

It really is totally up to you how much you are comfortable shaving down there. Some girls like to shave all of it (mostly for their boyfriends) but some girls dont shave at all and it seems to work well both ways. So whatever is best for you.
