Does anyone take my advice seriously. Some people think that 13 year olds arent mature, but I have been known to think and act like an adult.

Caden, sorry I'm late on this question! Haha, I had to answer it though. Some older people are just like what do 13 year old's know about life.. you know what I mean. That's just them. If you know what you are talking about and you are serious about it, people will take it seriously. There are a lot of 13 mature people and not everyone acts like a little kid.

I always take everybody's advice seriously, unless of course it's not meant to be taken seriously. Some thirteen year olds, like you :), have been through a lot and can give very honest, very good advice. Not everybody has that talent, there's some 40 year olds I know that are just plain horrible at giving advice, but I listen to them anyways because I believe that everyone's opinion matters and I may get something out of it even if I don't take their advice. Not everyone will always follow your advice, but knowing that you care and hearing your input will affect them. <3

I just had a quick look at your advice column, and I'm not just saying this, you give some really good, and well-thought out advice. True, a lot of 13 year olds can be immature, but so can people of any age. I have many friends who are younger who actually a helluva lot more mature and smarter than people my own age.
Hell, I'm seventeen and I sometimes feel people don't take me seriously just because I'm a teenager. I wish people wouldn't make presumptions about someone based on their age. Age is really only a number. It's a shame that some people are so judgmental and dense that they can't see this.
