Ok well in exactly a week from now I have to run a mile and a half in P.E, and I'm really out of shape. It's a race and my teacher says I must be one of the first people to finish. Does anybody have advice on how to run faster? Any food that could give me energy to run faster? Please help me.
happy-helper answered Saturday November 12 2005, 12:43 pm: Caffeine or energy drinks? That could help with the higher energy levels. Practice your hardest though. Bare in mind that you're going to do it to you and not for other people - don't let the pressure get to you too much!
Best of luck with your race! :)

BunnyxAblaze answered Friday November 11 2005, 11:51 pm: run for a minimum of 20 minutes a day everday before you have to run it works on your endurance which makes you run longer and faster without getting tired as fast. [ BunnyxAblaze's advice column | Ask BunnyxAblaze A Question ]

Take it from someone who was the same way as you! It's not the energy you need its the endurance. How long you will be able to run.Treadmills also make you faster =) [ DaNcE_In_ThE_RaIn's advice column | Ask DaNcE_In_ThE_RaIn A Question ]
dancinchikita answered Friday November 11 2005, 10:30 pm: ok drink lots of water and try your best dont run really fast at the beginning and lose your energy. wait till the last strech then use every bit of energy you have left and run as fast as you can till the finish line.
