i don't really know what i'm asking specifically..i just need general advice. i just started dating my current boyfriend. it's been a little over two weeks. i'm just wondering..for all of you with boyfriends..how long did you wait before you kissed him and how long have you been together so far..and for those who don't..how long did you wait before you kissed your last boyfriend..and how long were you together? i just don't know how long i want to wait. don't tell me to wait until i'm ready or want to..because i am going to do that. its just my ex left me with some trust issues..though i do trust my boyfriend..and i don't want a redo of my last relationship..which was way too physical. so your input will just help me a ton.

i know its hard to trust new ppl when others let you down, but just remember that not all guys are ass holes.
Imperialistic answered Friday November 11 2005, 10:04 pm: I would say that two weeks is long enough. Most people I know usually wait about a week and do it but I guess it depends on the age group. As a rough example (in my opinion), I think the following age groups should follow this:
11-12= One and a half months to One month
13-14= One month to Three weeks
15= Three to Two weeks
16= Two to One week
17= One week
18-up= Whenever you want
It just depend on your point of view. But that's mine.
The friends that I know have all started kissing in the first few weeks and have all had relationships for different periods of time, the longest being a year and a half and still going strong. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
Mishizzle answered Friday November 11 2005, 9:59 pm: Well me and my boyfriend made out about a week after we had strted going out.. It was so awesome because my parents weren't home... I won't get into details but it seemed really romatic for both of us..(it was the way he was holding me).. but I'm 16, was 15 back then.. but me and my boyfriend have been going out for a little over a year now... we are really honest with each other and tell each other how we feel... Like before we did the dirty, dirty, lol we talked about it for a while and then it just happened.. The kiss just happened between us and after that whole makeout session he told me he loved me. It was cute. But in no way, shape, or form am I telling you that if you makeout with him is he going to say he loves you. Just talk with him about it.. hope I helped and good luck with your relationship! [ Mishizzle's advice column | Ask Mishizzle A Question ]

So far, we've been together ALMOST 7 months! :D I'm not sure if there is anything else you wanna know.. but if there is don't be afraid to drop a message in my inbox.
