I do wish I were qualified to help you with this matter. I can not even imagine the anxiety you must be feeling over this condition. This is not the forum to be asking life-altering questions like this. You need to find immediate help. There are no qualified doctors here and even if there were I am sure they would ask you to go and see a qualified physician immediately. Having said this, I have done a little research. I have come up with some websites for you to visit. I also think there are some things that you can do for yourself. A contributing factor to your condition is stress. It seems that a few things are inflamed. So, what I would recommend, along with seeing a physician, is to do some stress management exercises. Some ideas are taking up yoga for instance. I know so many people who have taken up yoga and they feel emotionally more stable and able to handle life with more enthusiasm. If the yoga programs are too expensive in your area, I would recommend buying some yoga CDs. You can get them on Amazon or ebay. Meditation also works. There are many good methods of meditation out there. Look in some of your local new age magazines and you will find people teaching meditation. Sometimes people do it for free. I belong to The Self Realization Fellowship. This is a belief system that combines Buddhism with Christianity. The whole service is pretty much meditation. They teach it to you. You could find a group of people in your area that could do this with you. Or, get a hold of a video or book that will help you understand it. What I am saying to you is that you have to reduce your stress levels. I know from experience that these types of practices will help you deal with life in a more energetic and enthusiastic way. For some reason this condition inflames vessels in the retinal area and there is some fluid leakage that is applying pressure on your retina which is causing detachment. If left untreated for long you could have permanent damage. Also, you can work on reducing the inflammation. There are all kinds of herbs out there that can help with this. I would especially look for those that reduce high blood pressure. People with this disorder are usually type A personality. An interesting fact about high blood pressure medication is that it is anti-inflammatory. You need to reduce whatever is inflamed and leaking in your retinal area. Therefore, I feel you need anti-inflammatory substances. I have included some websites below for you. Some are about your condition and have some recommendations and others are about anti-inflammatory herbs. Research what types of herbs you feel you need and then go to the bulk foods websites I've included and buy them in bulk. You will need to take a lot, so, you will need a more cost effective method.

Also, and I know you probably won't like this one, but you need to quit eating red meat and chicken. The reason I say this is because they put steroids, antibiotics, and hormones in the meats to make them grow faster. Another contributing factor to this problem is increased levels of cortisone. The steroids and hormones you are ingesting could be contributing to the increase in cortisone in your system. If you could find organically raised meat in your area then it would be all right to eat, but it is expensive. If you can't find it, then I'd cut it out at least until you have the condition under control. But I think you will find that it will recur every time you start eating these chemically enriched meats. You can still eat fish and eggs. I am sure you can find free range/ organic eggs in your area. Since Thanks-giving is coming up you can usually find organically raised turkeys in your local health food stores. You need to hurry and look into it because they sometimes do it by special order only and do not stock it. Anyway, I hope this is helpful to you. If you feel I could help you further feel free to contact me. Good Luck to you.

Namaste

If doctors say there is no treatment to cure the disease, then you will need to learn how to live with it. I think you should get the laser treatment for starters and see if it helps, even if only temporarily.

Keep regular appointments with a doctor who keeps up with all the latest information on the subject. Ask them for guidance on what to do.

Never be afraid to call the doctors office with all your questions. Not everything needs to cost you an office visit fee.

Read all you can on the subject, don't be afraid to ask your doctor questions. Write down things as you think of them, or get you a small recorder and keep a list that way. Next visit, read from the list or just give it to your doctor and say I want the answers to these questions. It is much easier than trying to remember when you get there, since most people are stressed by doctors.

Best of luck to you. :)
