Hey I just had a smoke for the first time and like I smoked the entire thing (inhaling it) and I was fine but with the last two puffs, I felt it go down and then I was like light-headed for a bit.
I'm never going to do it again but is the light-headedness normal and how come it only happened at the last two hits?

sizzlinmandolin answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 12:38 pm: The lightheadedness is caused from the lack of oxygen to your brain. I could explain exactly what happens in your body, but I'll spare you the biology lesson. Anyways, the lightheadedness is the "high". Makes smoking sound pretty dumb huh? I'm glad you chose not to do it again. I'm not sure why it happened only from the last two hits because I don't know that much about smoking in those regards. Sorry I can't help you there, but at least now you know why it happens haha. I hope I helped in some way. Congrats again with your choice not to smoke again. You really made the right decision. Light headedness that is. Not smoking. Smoking is another story. [ bAhAmAmA0250's advice column | Ask bAhAmAmA0250 A Question ]
Vanilla13ean420 answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 10:45 am: Hey yeah, thats totally normal. Dont even worry about it. It's because you never smoked before and you arent used to the nicotine. I always used to get wicked lightheaded from ciggerates. You get lightheaded at the end probably because you have just finished it and because of that you probably just noticed it much more. It happens to alot of people. Sometimes I would get so lightheaded I would get sick if I smoked too many of them at once. Although feeling lightheaded like that is nothing you should really worry about. I hope I helped you out :)

naimee answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 7:43 am: Ahh that always used to happen to me. Like, that's how I always was when I smoked, even though I smoked like 10 cigarettes, daily. I just felt sick after everytime I did it :( But it's just because it was your first two times, of course you're going to feel light-headed. [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
marmar14 answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 7:20 am: Dear ciggs,
You are very good to not smoke again. It can really damage your lungs when you get older. That probably happened because it was your 1st try but do you her DO NOT do it again!
sleepiesheep answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 12:45 am: ummm.. i actually have smoked before and i did not enjoy it and i also lost my friends and bf over it til i quit. i believe the only reason it happend on the last two puffs was because those were the two that got furthest into your lungs and it was the ones that are most likely to make you smoke again. and yes the light headness is normal i got it everytime i had a smoke. but please never smoke it ruined my life and i refuse to let it again. hope this helped.
