You shouldn't set a limit to how long you should stay single. I'm not saying you should go out and get a new boyfriend now, but you shouldn't set a limit. You should just give yourself time to get over him and don't get into a new relationship until you're over him. Completely over him.

Time? Does it matter?...Dating is not based on a pattern or something like that. If you wanna do it, go ahead. It's a choice that you have to make. Ask your conscience: will you allow yourself to have another bf in less than 4 months?

Best of lucky luck.

there shouldn't be an exact time for when you should date again. if you like this kid and he likes you then you should go out with him. you don't have to wait 4 months cause that's a long time and feelings could go. personally i would date whenever a guy i liked asked me out even if i just broke up with my boyfriend. but you should at least wait a couple of days after the break up.

good luck.

Whenever you are ready. Don't set a certain amount of time. If you see an opportunity tomorrow that you're ready to take go for it. If nothing comes along for a few months or you're just not ready for another relationship yet that's fine too. It's different for every person. You just have to figure out how much time is right for you. Probably about six weeks would be good to work off of, but don't stick to any schedule. Good luck!

i say that you shouldnt go out RITE AWAY , you should leave some time for your previous relationship to queit, and then its your desicion from there, i say that you dont have to wait 4 months but run it by your friends and then go for it if you feel its right. i say nothing should have a time limit. Good Luck with that
