getting discovered
i am 13/f and i love acting and singing and i really want a career in it! that's like all i want to do... i want to act, sing, model, dance, be a performer! this may sound really stupid... but does anyone know a way to get discovered? this is what i really want to do... and soon! thank you very much!!!

The only real way to get noticed is by putting on plays and doing stuff by yourself on the streets or something.

Well to be discovered go to a local drama theatre where they do classes. Do choir. If you want get a voice-dierector. Find someone in your community who is associated w/ that kind of stuff you like! GOODLUCK! CYA ON TV!!!! LOL!

well, maybe you can write to producers asking to set up a date to get interviewed, or try to get into a band/club where you know people like that will go

Hey, as soon as you hit High School get involved with the theater company and thespian troupe. It's the first step, especially with the Thespian Troupe. If you do well in competitions there, people notice. Fast.

you have to get an agent..obviously you dont know much about the buisness..i know a lot more than most though........many reasons why....

Travel to the big cities and do plays, kareoki, ect. There are some restaraunts that do these things. You could participate in American Idol.

Well im not sure where you live but where i live we have people from collegexs and little companies that come to our school to find models dancers etc. Or you can loook on the internet for any shows that produce kids talents like star search. If your in high school or when you go to high school take dance classes drama classes etc. its a great stepping stone to start your career.

well one if you want a 'real' job you would prob have to live in los angeles or NYC is you don't already. and alot of people either get discoved being in plays or whatever or people coming up to you and asking if you want to model for them or whatever. or you can go to auditions but alot of them are scams so be careful
