Also, for privates, some instructors are cheaper than others. It just depends upon a lot of factors.
If you're taking all around gymnastics (bars, beam, vault, and floor) then it's going to be a lot more expensive because gymnasts usually train 5 to 6 days a week for anywhere from 2 to 6 hours.
If you're taking cheerleading gymnastics (tumbling) then it's going to be a lot cheaper.
It also depends if you're starting out or already have some skills. If you have the basics then you might want to start with privates. If you don't, start with a class. It depends on your comfort and sometimes which instructor you're best with.
Sherry answered Tuesday November 1 2005, 8:30 pm: It all depends on level of ability, the gym, practice times, etc etc. I would first go to a gym and ask them there. But for private lessons they could be up to $30-35 for 30 minutes or one hour. And for regular classes, where there are other students...it could be like $15-$30 for once a week. Try to find a gym in your area and ask them there. If you need help finding a gym, leave me something in my inbox telling me your city, state and surrounding citys that you would be able to drive to. =) Good luck.
