If you're having a small get together kinda thing, Have it at your house or at the movies or something. But if you're having this giant party, book a room in a country club or a church or something. Some good themes that I have experienced are Luau's... Who-dunnits... Or something based on a specific movie. Or disco. Make it something really fun where you can think of some good games. I hope I helped.

pimps & prostitutes is always a good theme.
the girls enjoy dressin up as sluts without actually being a slut and the boys like seeing the girls dressed up
i am a girl btw lol if thats to old or w/e just ave a theme like harry potter hahahahaha nah thats a bit lame
just think of something interesting.
of you are only having a few mates then your house will be a good place but if you want quite a few people try renting a hall or something

You should have a party at like a dance club or some kind of place that is popular and brings a crowd. Since it is so close to halloween have them dress up in cool costumes or something. I never really had a theme for my parties but it sounds like fun. Maybe if you want to invite tons of people in should be in some kind of gym.

my friends and i have parties all the time, mostly for no good reason. but the better ones were when there was like no theme, alot of sugar, soda, loud music, and when it was in my friend's basement. but that's just us, and if you don't want to try that, you can always go somewhere or throw a slumber party. i my opion, you are never to old for a good pizza, ice cream, girlie-crying movie, pillow fight, slumber party. hope i helped.

Well, I have seen a show called my Super Sweet Sixteen. These girls are all rich and spoiled, getting whatever they want. They complain and nag and whine and cry when things don't go their way. One girl actually had the nerve to say that if people showed up at her party without a gift, that they would be shown the door. You have a theme already. It's your birthday. I say keep it simple. Have cake, ice cream, music, snacks, and whatever else you may enjoy. Google some good party games and have a good time.
