About every 3 minutes or so, my computer opens up the calculator from windows! i used it once the other day, but i didnt do anything that would give me a virus. i dont know whats going on. any ideas on what it is and how to get rid of it? ALL FIVES
say_whaaat answered Tuesday November 8 2005, 12:34 am: go to www.grisoft.com and download AVG anti-virus.
It's a free anti-virus program.
Run it and keep it on your computer.
This is the first time I've ever heard of the calculator popping up.
If it's not a viurs then it will most likely be a spyware
or malware program of some sort.

If not, then call the company where you can talk to someone about it. You can explain what's going wrong, and they can probably tell you what to do to fix it =) [ yourperfectdisaster's advice column | Ask yourperfectdisaster A Question ]
