She is not very social. She is not very "cool." She wants to be my friend but I don't like her very much. She is weird. She got off the bus crying the other day because people call her a lezbo and a homosexual. I asked her why she was crying and she said she didn't know what thoughs words mean. I am 1 year younger than her. She is a geek...HELP ME! How do I a) get her away from he and/or b) make her cooler shall I say.
Mckick answered Thursday October 13 2005, 2:13 pm: For startes you could try and be nice to her. One she probably is a nice person when you get to know her. Her parents might not have the money to get her the nice cloths that she needs. maybe you could try and help her. May you could show her how to dress and to do her hair or just try and sticking up for her. And maybe the other perople will stop but maybe not. But if she had one friend maybe she could get some self esteem to do something. I hope I helped. [ Mckick's advice column | Ask Mckick A Question ]

If you don't, believe me it's happened to me, she'll think you're her best friend and tell everyone so.... [ RockStoleMySoul's advice column | Ask RockStoleMySoul A Question ]

Either you guys are very young or she has been living under a rock to not know what they mean. Anyways, you can get away from her by telling her you don't feel comfterable around her or you can make her cooler by letting her hang out with you & lettin her in own new "cool" stuff. Marko answered Wednesday October 12 2005, 5:15 am: Hey,
By the sounds of it you have a dilemma i experienced recently.
Reveal your true thoughts too her. Its better than continuing too let her act like a nerd. Then ask her if she would like a make over but remember to compliment her good attributes too.
sillyrob answered Tuesday October 11 2005, 11:10 pm: There are many solutions to this problem:
1. Never make ANY contact with her again. Eye contact, verbal contact, mental contact, physical contact, or even astral contact. You will never have to worry about her again if you can achieve this.
2. Pretend to be her friend. Then she can feel happy because someone cares, but you don't really have to see her other than the bus. This will make you seem like a better person, but your friends wont stop being your friends.
3. Assume she is not of this Earth. She could very well be an alien trying to fit in to human life. She will not know normal customs, certain words, or anything else. This is also best to avoid, since aliens are unpredictable.
4. Show her the internet. If she is going to be a geek, she might as well learn her natural habitat.
