Hi I am an advice columnist. I need some help. I am at a friends and I was at her neighbors house. We were tumbling and I knocked over one of the nice lady's pot holders. I broke the pot and I have scratches all over my legs. My friend got me out of there as fast as she could. I feel so bad. What do I do?
mooch789 answered Monday October 10 2005, 9:18 pm: I would either a) Replace the vase or B) Apologize for breaking it. One of them's bound to work. As for your leg, put some bandaids on it and tell your parents about it. Hope I helped! [ mooch789's advice column | Ask mooch789 A Question ]

Tell her you're very sorry, I'm sure she'll understand. Good luck!! [ TRAGiCxWH0REx3's advice column | Ask TRAGiCxWH0REx3 A Question ]
cjAdvice answered Sunday October 9 2005, 7:37 pm: leave a pot on her doorstep with like 20$ in it and an apologie letter, trust me it will help, and dont forget to sighn your name on the letter. accedents happen! [ cjAdvice's advice column | Ask cjAdvice A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Saturday October 8 2005, 9:58 pm: I know you've already been told this a few times, but I also think that buying her a new one would be a very kind move. You can just bring it to her door, and explain to her what happened. I'm shore she'll understand. Or, if you're too afraid to do that, leaving it by the front door with a note would be acceptable, but not as grand; however, it's better than nothing. funkymunky817 answered Saturday October 8 2005, 8:43 pm: if you feel THAT bad...go to your friends neighbor and tell her what happened. im sure she will understand. offer to buy her a new one. they are not that expensive. other then that there is really nothing you can do but that...or feel guilty.
-- Well, what i think you should do is: Go to ralphs, sav-on or any drug store, but a cheap plant holder with a plant inside. Knock on the ladys door and explain to her the situation and give her the pot!! Im sure she would appriciate it more than seeing a pot broken!!
LadyGoodman answered Saturday October 8 2005, 8:02 pm: If you really feel that bad, buy the lady a new one. It's not really that big of a deal. If the scratches are bad, put some neosporin on them. [ LadyGoodman's advice column | Ask LadyGoodman A Question ]
