Hey! if you are using internet explorer, type the first letter of the word ad when you see it, pput your cursor on the word and push delete. Also erasae your history by the tools tab.

Mozzila: erase all your cookies and your history. If you see the tab go, thats your history.

To get rid of your searches:
if you have mozilla firefox, click tools at the top of the window, then click options, then you'll see a thing that says history, and saved form information. next to it it will say clear. click clear for both history and saved form information.

I'm pretty sure it's always going to save them. But what you can do is actually delete them yourself.

Edit: I just looked at it and if you go to your options I think you can turn it off

I just happened to have read about this in a newsletter yesterday. I guess its a chore to do but here is the info courtesy of Bobrankin.com
Hope it helps! :)

If it helps, send me an invite, I have been wanting to try it. Karenrickel50@hotmail.com
Thank you! :)

If you run a desktop search enhancer such as Google Desktop be aware that it may also catalog your browser history. You can clear items from this history, but it's a tedious process.

You have to do a desktop search, click on Remove Items, select the offending items, then press the Removed Checked Results button. Over and over...

I did find a program called Mil Shield which can clean your browser history and the Google Desktop history. It offers a free trial and costs US$29 if you want to purchase after the trial ends.
