Customs

~ Well in ancient Egypt they put food out on the tables so the spirit of their dead loved ones can come back and feast with the living

~ In MEXICO (not Spain); they go have a meal (dinner or late night snack) in the cemetery at night. They place an item of significant value to a deceased friend or family members.

~ In Celtic times; those who were unattached with someone (not married or dating as it later developed) would attempt to take a bite out of an apple bobbing in a pail of water, or suspended on a string. The first person to do so was believed to leave that status during the next year (the Celtic’s believed the New Year begun at this that time, Nov. 1st.)

~ In England the do Soul Cakes, if you like the recipe go to .............................

~ the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other's fortunes.

I hope this helps/let me know if it does.
