I don't know if a boy likes me.

Question Posted Tuesday October 4 2005, 7:12 pm

Look, im in 8th grade and I'm a girl. I'm 13 years old. There's this boy I really like, and I don't know if he likes me... We were really good friends since 3rd grade, and in 4th grade we were going out. In 5th grade we were just friends. In 6th grade we weren't. Then in 7th grade we were friends. Now in 8th grade he's my friend again and he smiles at me a lot. We just got partnered for an interview project and he looked really happy about it. I hope he likes me because I think im in love. I really like this guy and I hope he likes me. Please give me advice on how to confront him and talk to him and maybe tell your opinion on if he likes me or not. Also, should I tell him I like him? I don't know what to do. Please help me.

Maybe get one of your friends to ask him if he likes you. So then you wont screw up infront of him and look like a fool. This thing works all the time.. Just get a friend and go up to him and say.. i know someone who likes you.. who do you like? and yeah problem solved
hope this helps

Hey,
See if you can get his # and call him as a friend first and then consult with him about a relationship later or maybe he will bring up a relationship first and that will let you know that he likes you. I think he likes you. Smiling is a sign of flirting. Flirting leads to a relationship. Go and get yo man gurl.

Good Luck,

P.S.Write back and tell me how my advice was and if it helped.

When you work on your project hopefully you two will have some one on one time. Why not bring up how you guys have known eachother for a while and bring up how you used to date and how you might think it'd be fun to give it another try?

I had that same situation when I was in eighth grade last year. My advice is to tell him how you feel because if you don't nothing is ever going to change and your going to feel horrible about it if you don't tell him. If you never tell him and he does like you he might realize that maybe you don't like him so he'll move on and you don't want that to happen.
I suggest that (if he has Instant messanger) you should IM him and tell him how you feel although telling him in person is sometimes a better way. It really depends on what kind of person you are. If your a shy person and you don't like coming out in the open about something I would send him an IM instead but its your choice. I hope everything works out for you and if you need anything else feel free to send me a message. <3 Vanna
