Okay, my 18th birthday is in...like, three weeks and I have no plans. I want to do SOMETHING with my friends. Unfortunately a bunch of my friends aren't 18, so that rules out going to a club or anything. My birthday's on a monday, which really sucks, but we could do something the weekend before, or on halloween weekend or something...anyway, I know that.
I'd like a few opinions and ideas as to what we could do. I refuse to let my 18th go by without celebrating. I did that with my 16th and I regret it quite a bit.
So, ideas? Also, please try to hold off on the chatspeak. I rate down if it takes me more than one attempt to read and understand the response. Punctuation marks are your friends. ^_^

Luckily, my best friend is a year older than me. On my 18th birthday we went to a porn store, went out to eat at my favorite restaraunt, and then got drunk right before going into my first club.
Even if you can't do things like that, you can still enjoy the company of your friends. Definately don't be alone on your birthday. My 16th birthday sucked as well, so I was kind of pessimistic about my 18th. But it turned out great.
Go out to dinner with your friends. Spend time with them. Maybe go someplace further out then where you normally go, because doing the same things all the time can get boring. Take silly pictures of you guys around town, if you like pictures. You can even just simply eat cake and watch a movie at home. Just as long as your with your friends having fun and laughing, I'd say its a success!

Or make them take you to the mall and buy you stuff, that can't be horrible :P. i don't know that's all i got. [ Gabi143's advice column | Ask Gabi143 A Question ]
sillyrob answered Monday October 3 2005, 8:59 pm: Oh my God, I have this feeling that your birthday is October 24th. If so, we shall be celebrating our birthdays on the same day and I will drink a beer in your honor. If not, it's close enough that I will anyways. Find a place to have a party if you can. You could always hang out with your friends and drink punch (heh), listen to music, just hang out. Those parties are always fun. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]
LoveNJstyle answered Monday October 3 2005, 7:21 pm: Have them over and just hang out for a while. Or you can go to a park and play night tag or ghost in the graveyard like little kids. It may not sound like much but its one crazyyy night! (hope you love the punctuation) <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]

xomegaroni answered Monday October 3 2005, 6:49 pm: oh 18! thats a big one so it should be a lot of fun. is there any clubs around that are like 16-20 er something? ok so it isn't as scandalous as a regular club, but then that way your friends can go & have fun & you still can too. how about a sports bar type place? with a resturaunt, huge tvs, pool tables, games, etc. juss a cool place to hang out & do things with your friends. another idea would be having it at a hotel like the holiday inn. idk how much money you're willing to spend, but instead of a sweet 16, it could be like your sweet 18. that'd be really neat & you can do everything like a sweet 16, except your 18. maybe since it's by halloween, that could be the theme. like a costume party & stuff. definately do it the friday er saturday before.
