ok i have had acrylics twice. (graduation and senior pix) but go full acrylics. even if your nails are bit to death, they will still be able to put them on. but dont takethem off yourself, hurts like hell trust me. depends where you go, typically 30-40 dollars depending on things. good luck!

Hey,
Full acrylic because it won't fit if you do the other one.

Good Luck,
Advicegodesses2

P.S. Write back and tell me how it went and how my advice was.

Acrylic tips. If you've got short and stubby nails, they'll look longer and fuller. Once your nails grow out of the tips, you can have a full set.

Tips would cost somewhere from $20-$25. Full set usually costs about $30

Full acrylics normally work better when you have LONG nails because the acrylic just goes over your regular nail. Acrylic tips are exactly that, they are tips to make your nails longer.

I personally would suggest acrylic tips for you, since you have short nails. And, they are MUCH easier to remove than full acrylics.

You can still get a french manicure with them.

It SHOULD be around 15-25 dollars. Some nail salons will have specials if you bring your highschool ID. SOME salons... Not all.

If you would just want them for your homecoming, you could always just get the glue on nails and you can get them in French Manicured and they will just be temporary they sell them at like CVS or target or anywhere like that and they cost about 5-10 bucks ♥

first of all.....when you get your nails done they always just put tips on... they cover it with acrylic.... there's not just tips with acylic or full acrylic unless you are getting the acyrlic on just your natural nail....for a french manacure full set it would probably cost around 25-30 dollars.
plus i leave a tip but thats just me
hope i helped

orphans answered Thursday September 29 2005, 9:21 pm:
I'd actually recommend gel nails instead of acryclics. I've had both, and by far, I liked the gels better. The acrylics don't last as long, and they don't look as good as gels do. But, if you still want to go with the acrylics, I'd say get the tips. I believe both gels and acrylics are french manicured in the first place. If you go for the really expensive gel nails it's about $40 but if you go with the acryclics I'd say maybe $25.
I hope I helped!
